If you've seen Tiny House Hunters you're either a) all about the tiny house life or b) don't understand how someone could fit all of their clothes in that oversized trailer, or why they would want to subject themselves to that kind of torture. I'm definitely the latter, so before taking this trip I was hesitant. Side note: a tiny house more times than not is just a trailer home made with better interiors (sorry to spoil the fun). Hell, pulling up to the house my friend Fai could tell you I was having a small panic attack at the thought of living in there for 2 days. I live in a small studio apartment now and I spent the last 3 years before that in a tiny dorm room, so the adjustment to tiny house living wasn't really an adjustment at all. I actually liked it. It was just enough space to be comfortable. The key to a good tiny house experience? It's got to be short. It's got to have wine. And you've got to be with someone you don't mind (literally) bumping into every so often.
